01 / Online selection
The pump comes first in both. Where a pump is already installed, the inverter is read from its nameplate; where it is not, the pump series is read from the water source and the duty, and the inverter follows it.
Route A
Read the figures off the pump nameplate. A single-phase pump runs on 220–240 V; a three-phase pump on 380–440 V. The series that reaches the rating without oversizing it is listed first.
Route B
The water source decides which pump series is in question; the flow and the head decide the model inside it. Those two figures go to our engineer with your inquiry, because the pump curve is what turns them into a rating.

Each model below is read off its own recorded Q-H curve, by interpolation between the test points either side of your flow. A model is proposed when its curve reaches your total head plus the head margin the family states, when your flow falls inside the span it was tested over, and when the pump it states fits the borehole you entered. The smallest motor that meets the duty is recommended; the inverter and the PV side are checked separately.

02 / What decides the selection
None of the four is read on its own. A pump that suits one site is the wrong pump on another, so the selection is worked through all of them before anything is proposed.
A borehole or a well, a river or a lake, or a storage tank. The source decides which product line is in question at all, and what the pump has to sit in or draw from.
The water the site needs at the point of use, and how that demand is spread across the day. Flow is what the pump has to deliver, so it is read before the equipment is discussed.
The lift from the working water level to the discharge, plus the losses through the pipe run and the fittings. Flow and head are read together; one without the other says very little.
Whether the site runs on solar alone or with grid or generator support, and the hours the pump is expected to work. That decides the inverter and the way the array is arranged.
03 / Three routes
Each route leads to a different product line. Take the one that matches your water source, then send the duty with it — the final selection is confirmed with our team.
Borehole water
The route for a well or a borehole. The pump works below the water level and lifts to the surface, so the selection starts from the borehole and the lift it needs.
Surface water
The route for a river, a lake or a storage tank. The pump works at the edge of the water or beside the tank, so the suction conditions and the run to the point of use are part of the selection.
Existing AC pump
The route for a pump that is already installed and working. The motor and the application are checked first, and the pump runs from solar or hybrid power only where the two of them fit.
The final selection is confirmed against the site — the water source, the duty and the equipment already in place — before anything is quoted.
