02 / FAQ
Before you send
the inquiry.
Four questions a distributor, a dealer, an installer or a contractor asks before ordering.
How do we buy HOBER inverters and pumps for resale?
HOBER supplies wholesale from the factory to the businesses that stock and fit the range. Send the market you sell in, the models or the range you are looking at and the quantity, and the sales team answers with the models, the supply terms and the documents that go with them.
Can a solar pumping inverter run the AC pump we already have?
There is no list of motors that can be settled in advance. Whether a solar pump inverter can drive an AC motor is decided by the motor nameplate — its power, its voltage, its phase and the way the pump is operated — and HOBER checks those details against the drive before a model is named. Two motors of the same power can behave differently on a conversion, so the nameplate is what the check is made from.
Will HOBER supply the units under our own brand?
OEM and private-label supply is offered by HOBER and is discussed with the order, so what is supplied and how it is labelled are agreed with you: your brand on the unit and on the documents, and configurations built for the market you sell in.
What do you need from us for a tender or a project?
For tenders, share the specification, so product capabilities, available documents and any gaps can be reviewed individually. Add the water source, the required flow and the total head, and the pump or motor data you already have — the pump, motor and PV configuration is then reviewed against the site information you sent.
