Technical Support

Support for the people
who install the system.

What we can answer once the pump, the inverter and the array are on site, and what to send so the answer is about your installation.

Inverter with a pump

Answers come from the configuration that was supplied.

01 / What we help with

Questions that come
after the switch-on.

Where the answer comes from the configuration that was supplied, not from a generic manual.

Solar pump inverter unit

Commissioning

First run and settings.

Parameter settings, protection settings and the checks made when the system is started for the first time.

Submersible pump waterproof cable

Installation

Wiring, cable and filter.

The run from the array to the inverter and from the inverter to the pump, the cable used, and the output filter beside it.

Inverter with a pump

After-sales

A system that does not behave.

What the installation does, what it does not do, and the readings that describe the difference.

02 / What to send

Three things make
an answer specific.

Without them, any reply would be a guess.

01

The model and the nameplate.

The pump and inverter model, and the motor nameplate details where a conversion is involved.

02

The site and the duty point.

The water source, the required flow, the total head, the pipe run and how the system is powered.

03

What happens now.

What the system does when it runs, what it does not do, and any readings or photographs taken on site.

03 / Limits

Some answers need
the equipment in front of you.

A reading taken on site, a photograph of a nameplate or the parameter list from the inverter answers questions that a description cannot.

Where a pump was not supplied by HOBER, the nameplate details and the site information are still enough to say what can be supported and what cannot.

Where the order came from HOBER, quote the order or invoice reference with the question: it brings up the configuration that was supplied.

04 / Questions

Straight answers.

The system runs but the output is low. What do you need?

The duty point the system was selected for, what it is doing now, the water output measured on site and the parameter list from the inverter. Those four describe the difference.

Can you help with a pump that was not bought from HOBER?

Send the pump and motor nameplate details and the site information. We say what can be supported rather than guessing from a description.

Is a system supported after it has been commissioned?

Commissioning is the start of support rather than the end of the project. The questions that come afterwards are answered from the configuration that was supplied.

Where do I send the question?

Use the inquiry form on the Contact page, or reply to the email thread from your order. Include the model, the site details and what the system is doing now.

Next step

Send the details.
We answer for the installation.

The model, the site and what the system is doing now: that is what an answer is built from.
