Questions this collection answers
Is a controller the same as an inverter?
No. A DC solar pump controller drives a brushless DC or permanent-magnet pump directly, while a solar pump inverter drives an ordinary AC pump motor.
Can I add a controller to an AC pump?
No. An AC pump is solarised with an inverter; the controller belongs with the DC pump it was built for.
