How Foshan Hober Electric Co., Ltd. uses cookies and similar technologies across our website, why we use them, and how you can manage your preferences.

Last Updated: October 14, 2026

This Cookie Policy explains how Foshan Hober Electric Co., Ltd. (“HOBER,” “HOBER SOLAR PUMP,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) uses cookies and similar technologies on our website.

This Cookie Policy should be read together with our Privacy Policy.

1. What Are Cookies?

Cookies are small text files that websites store on your computer, smartphone, tablet, or other device when you visit a website.

Cookies and similar technologies can enable websites to function correctly, remember visitor preferences, understand how visitors use the website, measure website performance, and support advertising and marketing activities.

Cookies may be:

Session cookies, which are generally removed when you close your browser; or

Persistent cookies, which remain on your device for a specified period or until deleted.

Cookies may also be:

First-party cookies, set directly by our website; or

Third-party cookies, set by external service providers whose technologies are used on our website.

2. How We Use Cookies

HOBER SOLAR PUMP may use cookies and similar technologies for the following purposes:

  • Operating and securing the website
  • Remembering visitor preferences
  • Maintaining form and website functionality
  • Understanding how visitors use the website
  • Measuring website performance
  • Identifying website or campaign traffic sources
  • Improving website content and user experience

What this website uses today: the cookies and similar technologies that are necessary to serve the pages and to receive an inquiry form, and — only after you accept them — the advertising cookies set by the Meta Pixel. No analytics service runs on this website, and no visitor is measured, profiled or retargeted before accepting advertising and marketing cookies in the consent bar shown on the first visit. Section 3.3 names the advertising technology and section 4 names the provider.

3. Categories of Cookies

3.1 Strictly Necessary Cookies

These cookies are required for the website to operate or provide functionality specifically requested by the visitor.

They may support functions such as:

  • Website security
  • Network management
  • Form functionality
  • Session management

Because these cookies are necessary for core website functionality, they may not require consent where applicable law permits.

Disabling these cookies may prevent certain parts of the website from functioning correctly.

3.2 Analytics Cookies

Analytics cookies would help us understand how visitors interact with our website. No analytics cookie and no analytics service is used on this website today: our pages load no analytics script, no visitor is counted or profiled as an audience, and no analytics vendor receives a request from them. The advertising technology named in section 3.3 is a separate category, not an analytics service. If we introduce analytics, this section will name the service, and — where applicable law requires consent — no analytics cookie will be activated until you give it.

3.3 Advertising and Marketing Cookies

One advertising technology is used on this website: the Meta Pixel. It is provided by Meta Platforms Ireland Limited for visitors in the European Economic Area and by Meta Platforms, Inc. elsewhere. The pixel reports the pages a visitor reads to Meta, which is how HOBER measures and improves its advertising on Meta's platforms.

It is activated only after you accept advertising and marketing cookies. Before you answer the consent bar, your browser makes no request to Meta and no advertising cookie is set. Once it is activated it sets or reads the cookies _fbp and, when you arrive from a Meta advertisement, _fbc, and it reports a page view for each page you read. We measure no conversion through it today.

3.4 Functional Cookies

Functional cookies may remember choices you make and provide enhanced website functionality, such as language preferences, communication preferences, or embedded third-party features.

Where legally required, we will obtain consent before activating non-essential functional cookies.

4. Third-Party Technologies

Three third parties are reached from our pages today. One of them measures you, and only after you accept it:

  • Meta (Meta Platforms Ireland Limited) — the Meta Pixel described in section 3.3. Its script is loaded from connect.facebook.net only after you accept advertising and marketing cookies, and it then reports the pages you read to Meta. Until you accept, no request reaches Meta and no advertising cookie is set. Meta's own privacy policy, and its cookie documentation, apply to what Meta receives and keeps.
  • YouTube (Google) — our Videos page lists clips from the HOBER channel. A card shows the still picture YouTube publishes for that clip, which your browser requests from YouTube's image host when the page opens. The player itself is loaded only when you press a card, and it is loaded from youtube-nocookie.com. Where a clip's record carries a picture of our own, that picture is served from this website instead. Google's own privacy policy applies to what YouTube receives.
  • WhatsApp — the buttons and links that open a chat with our sales team are ordinary links to wa.me. Nothing is loaded from WhatsApp until you follow one.

The social profiles linked in our footer (Facebook, LinkedIn, X) are links as well: they are followed only when you click them, and no social plugin is embedded in our pages. The Meta Pixel named above is the only technology from a social platform our pages load, and only after you accept it.

No web font is requested from a font provider's server.

If HOBER SOLAR PUMP adds another third-party technology — analytics, advertising, maps, an embedded feed — this section will name it, and where applicable law requires consent it will not be activated before you give it.

5. Cookie Consent

Where applicable law requires consent for non-essential cookies, visitors are given the opportunity to choose before those technologies are activated. A consent bar is therefore shown on your first visit to this website: no non-essential cookie is set before you answer, and the Meta Pixel is not loaded at all unless you accept it. Only the strictly necessary cookies that serve the pages and the inquiry form are set in every case.

The consent bar offers:

Accept All — advertising and marketing cookies are accepted
Reject Non-Essential — necessary cookies only, nothing is measured
Manage Preferences — each category is chosen on its own and saved with Save Choice

Rejecting non-essential cookies will not prevent access to the basic content and core functionality of the website.

Strictly necessary cookies may continue to operate because they are required to provide the website or services requested by the visitor.

6. Managing or Withdrawing Your Consent

Cookie Settings, in the footer of every page, reopens the consent bar with the choice you stored, so a consent you have given can be changed or withdrawn there at any time. Withdrawing it stops the Meta Pixel on the pages you open afterwards; it does not remove what Meta received while it was active, since a loaded script cannot be unloaded. Your choice is kept in a cookie of this website for 180 days, and you can delete it with the other cookies in your browser at any time.

You may also manage or delete cookies through your browser settings.

Most browsers allow you to:

  • View stored cookies
  • Delete cookies
  • Block certain cookies
  • Block third-party cookies
  • Block all cookies

Blocking all cookies may affect certain website functions.

Where processing is based on your consent, withdrawing consent will not affect processing that occurred before the withdrawal.

7. Cookie Retention

Different cookies may remain on your device for different periods.

Session cookies generally expire when the browser session ends.

Persistent cookies may remain for a defined period unless they are deleted earlier.

The exact retention period depends on the purpose of the cookie and the provider responsible for it.

We aim to avoid retaining cookie-related information longer than reasonably necessary for its intended purpose.

The consent bar keeps your choice in a cookie of this website for 180 days; it is set only after you answer, and changing your choice replaces it. The _fbp and _fbc cookies are set and read by Meta, and Meta's own cookie documentation states how long they are kept; withdrawing your consent stops them being set again on the pages you open afterwards.

8. Updates to This Cookie Policy

We may update this Cookie Policy when we add, remove, or change website technologies, analytics tools, advertising services, or legal requirements.

The latest version will be published on this page and the “Last Updated” date will be updated.
