Each model is listed with the figures its own record states and with the state it is in. The PV side and the pump curve are checked separately, and the model is confirmed from the nameplate before anything is quoted.
No inverter model is published for this supply yet, so nothing is ranked against your pump. Send the nameplate and our engineer matches the model by hand.
Keep a compatible AC pump. Add solar panels and a HOBER solar pump inverter. Our team helps you verify motor wiring, match the inverter and size the PV array before installation.
IP21 wall-mounted solar pump inverter series for 45 kW to 132 kW three-phase 380 V, 400 V and 440 V pump motors, driven from a PV array with grid input alongside.
A series is shown when the pump voltage, the phase and the motor frequency you gave match what its own records state, and the pump rating you entered is inside the pump power range the series records for itself — read at both ends of that range, so a series that starts above your rating is not offered for it either. The series holding the smallest recorded model that covers your rating is offered first; a wider series whose own recorded range also contains the rating is listed separately as an option still to be confirmed. A series whose recorded range does not contain the rating, and a pairing the records place outside their own limits, are not proposed at all: what was left out that way, and why, is stated under Not Proposed — Outside Recorded Power Range. Where a figure is still missing, the candidate says which check it is waiting for, and every candidate that is not a preliminary recommendation is labelled Technical Verification Required.
41 of the 41 recorded inverter models are still to be confirmed, so no model is named as a match until that check is made.
The figure a model records is printed exactly as the record states it. Which quantity that figure stands for — the inverter rated output, or the maximum pump power the model is adapted to — is part of the technical confirmation.
Each model is read off its own Q-H curve, by interpolation between the test points either side of your flow. A model is proposed when its curve reaches your total head (the lift from the working water level to the discharge point, plus the losses through the pipe run and fittings) plus the head margin HOBER applies, when your flow falls inside the span it was tested over, and when the pump it states fits the borehole you entered. The smallest motor that meets the duty is recommended; the inverter and the PV side are checked separately.
Step 4 — Alternative models
No curve reaches your duty point with the head margin HOBER applies, or no model covers that flow. Send the duty point and our engineer matches the model by hand.
Deep-well submersible centrifugal pump series supplied with a HOBER solar pump inverter, so the pump runs from solar DC with grid AC as the alternative.
Submersible sewage pump series supplied with a HOBER solar pump inverter, for wastewater and drainage duty on solar DC with grid AC as the alternative.
Horizontal multistage pump series, supplied with a HOBER solar pump inverter for pressure boosting and industrial supply on solar DC with grid AC as the alternative.
The series is read from the water source and the pump family it belongs to. The models inside it are read off their Q-H curves at the flow and head you entered, and our engineer confirms the model against your installation — the figures you sent travel with your inquiry.

A Preliminary Recommendation means the recorded matching conditions are met. It is not the result of the technical and safety checks, which are completed against the installation before anything is quoted.
